Concrete: Concrete brings many options alone. Traditionally poured concrete, concrete pavers, tinted concrete, stamped concrete, exposed aggregate. In the last decade, concrete has had a bad rap for cracking in cold weather. Ask one of our master contractors about how to best avoid cracking. Concrete is low in cost, easily maintained, and comes in many colors. You can even mimic other, more expensive materials like natural stone.

Brick: A 20^th century classic favorite with distinctive design capabilities. These captivating brick decks with the surrounding outdoor living designs bestow vintage sophistication and surpass visual expectations with unsurpassed beauty and quality. Brick is a medium priced material.

Tile: Tile offers a unique design that pops and is sure to be noticed and complimented on. Large red clay tiles are also a low costing option that definitely doesn’t look like it.

Pavers: An excellent alternative to concrete because pavers are permeable and won’t crack in cold weather. Pavers are one of the best materials to hit the design and construction industry. It is available in many different materials, sizes, shade, and shapes. This is also a lower costing material and can also mimic many other materials rather convincingly.

Stone: Stone is another good alternative to concrete because it is also permeable but costs more than concrete and pavers. When installing stone, it can either be laid on poured concrete or on an aggregate bed. Stones also come with many different options including stones that absorb heat.

Wood: An old favorite that is now often pushed aside for pavers that can mimic wood. Wood has a bad rap as a pool deck because it can’t withstand water like other materials can. It requires the most maintenance and is also in the higher price range.
